Our Role

Led implementation of Oracle Unifier maintenance module and performed complete asset inventory | Delivered in conjunction with Trinnex's parent company, CDM Smith

Modernizing Transit Maintenance Through Enterprise Asset Management and Reliable Digital Data Collection

WeGo Public Transit partnered with our team to implement a comprehensive work order system using Oracle Unifier. By inventorying over 1,400 facility assets and formalizing maintenance workflows, the organization successfully transitioned from reactive repairs to a proactive, technology-driven asset management environment.

Overcoming Reactive Maintenance and Federal Transit Agency Regulatory Compliance Reporting Inconsistencies

The agency lacked a work order system to manage facility assets, making consistent inspection scheduling difficult and resulting in primarily reactive work. Additionally, unreliable asset information hindered the organization’s ability to meet Federal Transit Agency regulatory compliance reporting requirements.

Oracle Unifier Maintenance Module Implementation and Comprehensive Facility Asset Inventory

Our team bridged the gap between scattered facility information and centralized action by performing a complete inventory of 1,400 assets across multiple transit centers. Utilizing mobile technology, our team captured critical attribute data, including manufacturer details, serial numbers, and capacity, while taking photographs to support field identification. To turn this data into a sustainable operation, our team developed workflow maps for both in-house and outsourced maintenance. These "to-be" state workflows were configured directly into Oracle Unifier, incorporating issue picklists to aid in failure tracking and performance history. The solution automated preventive maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression systems. By integrating real-world facility conditions with digital project controls, the organization now leverages a unified platform to manage the entire lifecycle of its critical transit infrastructure.

Full Adoption of a Unified Work Order and Maintenance System

The organization achieved full deployment and staff adoption of the new work order system by 2025. This initiative established a standardized naming convention and an inaugural asset management plan, ensuring regulatory compliance and improved long-term facility performance.
